We took a couple of days to fly to Florida for Biketoberfest. Our friend Bob, hauled our bike down with his, his son's, and a friend of theirs. We had a great time. It was alot warmer down there than up here. Friday night it was 89 degrees at 8:45 pm. We still had a good time. We rode our bikes to Daytona Beach Friday and Saturday and on Sunday we went and visited with Gerald and Sarah. Our visit with them is always one the of best highlights of the trip. We don't get to see them very often so when we do it is always fun. On this trip we learned that it was Sarah who gave Den his first piece of chewing gum. You would be amazed what you can learn on one of these visits. They sit, talk about when they were kids and the crazy stuff they did. Sarah cooked the best meal ever, no meal in Florida can compare, It was a great time as always and then on Monday morning we flew home. It is so hard to believe that you can leave Orlando and in 2 hours you are in Pittsburgh. It was a short trip but it was still a great, needed adventure away for a couple of days.
